Hawkins, born in London in the 19th century, is a historic brand with its roots in military and work boots. Its tough design and solid functionality have created numerous fans, and it has been loved in a wide range of scenes from outdoor to street. In the 1990s, the brand became a symbol of Japanese culture, and is now undergoing a wave of reissue and reevaluation. The "Liam Series," a modern interpretation of this spirit, combines the presence of a classic work boot with functions such as waterproofing and cushioning, and has evolved into a pair that can be worn alongside urban life. Once again, stylist Yuta Kaji will incorporate these boots into his everyday styling. The third guest is freelance director Leo Yoshioka. His sensibility and Kaji's filter overlap to reveal a new look of "Hawkins".

Style 02: Urban attire with a touch of color.

Next up is an urban outdoor style with brown at its core. The parka and denim are all the same color, creating a natural gradation of color and a sense of unity, while giving the look the air of a set-up.

When put together in one tone, it gives a subdued impression, but I break up the tone by adding nuances of damage. However, that alone is too simple, so I wrapped a shirt around the waist and added yellow to the feet. Adding a little play makes the whole look much more three-dimensional.

The shoe of choice is the Liam Mid, which has a strong presence. It is a mid-cut model reconstructed based on the classic boots of the past.
