The men's version comes in four sizes, 32, 34, 36, and 38 inches, while the women's version is one size, 29 inches.
Konno: Adjustments can be made to narrow the waist by 2 inches.
Yuuki: The tabs are oriented in such a way that they can be squeezed from the front to the back. If the tabs were facing the other way, the front would have a strange wrinkle. We were particular about such details.
Reiko: I am also very happy that they make women's sizes in the first place. It often happens that a good men's item cannot be worn by a women's item. And when you can cover two sizes, it's even better.
Konno: As Reiko mentioned earlier, the M-45 originally has a silhouette that fits women naturally. If you try to force yourself to wear it, it will look somewhat unnatural. Also, compared to other military pants, the details are simplified, and I think some people find that appealing.
Reiko: The simplicity of the design makes it easy for women to wear.
Konno: I think they are simply cool pants for women to wear.
Reiko: It gives a sophisticated look, just by wearing it. It's a silhouette that makes you look like an expert. Even "Witty Vintage" sells out as soon as they come in stock.
Yuuki: We did not expect it to be so popular. Vintage items are very scarce, so from our point of view, this item is a lifesaver.
The silhouette is unisex, but is there any particular part of the pattern that you focused on?
Konno: We asked Yazane-san, who is also known for his work on "Stabilizer Jeans," to be our patterner. The patterns he creates for the pants are superb, and the balance is very good. The overall silhouette, as well as the hip line, requires a unique angle, so I asked him to make sure that the shape was ideal. Many people want to wear vintage pants but can't find their own size, so the people who tried on the pants at the exhibition really liked them.
