Interview Don't think of it as an outdoor activity, just like your regular clothes.
What did you think when you saw the Woolrich Outdoor Label clothes?
Ida: I got the impression that while there were plenty of outdoor elements, they were sublimated as fashion items through the use of fabrics, and arranged in a way that made them easy to use in everyday life. I think it can be styled in various ways depending on how you think about it.
Do you yourself wear outdoor clothing?
Ida: Of course I wear them. I also have some old "Woolrich" clothes, and I wear a lot of nylon outerwear.
What kind of styling do you do then?
Ida: I often combine denim with work boots for a 90's style combination. However, I don't want the look to be too stiff, so I add and subtract while utilizing the texture of old clothes. I enjoy dressing in such a way that I can play around a little with my outfits, like the black-rimmed glasses used in the styling of the female model in this case.
Woolrich Outdoor Label" has elements of old clothes, but it also has a modern design.
Ida: I thought it was very chic. Most of the vintage clothes I own have a more retro outdoor impression, with colors such as light blue and pink. But the items from "Woolrich Outdoor Label" have a calm and modern look. This is why I think the items are attractive because they are designed to be worn both casually and beautifully, giving a more mature look to the coordinated outfit.
What should we keep in mind in order to wear outdoor items well?
Ida: I think it's just right to add it to your usual outfits without hesitation. For example, in the men's styling this time, I paired a Woolrich Outdoor Label jacket with a knit and denim, but rather than thinking too hard about it, I think it's better to just add an outdoor element to a basic outfit to make it more coherent. I think that's already a good way to add an element of the outdoors to an otherwise basic outfit.
Rather than incorporating several elements of the outdoors, you would rather have just one.
Ida: Yes, I agree. When incorporating a full-body look like in the first styling, I think it is best to be conscious of achieving a modern balance by unifying colors and paying attention to size. But I think the appeal of the Woolrich Outdoor Label lies in its ease of combination with the clothes in your wardrobe. Since it is a properly modernized design, I recommend that you don't think of it as an outdoor garment, but wear it as if it were your regular clothes, so you can incorporate it well.
