-What image did you have of Rankl?

シンプルに見た目が好きだし、一般認知度が高くて人気のクルマというイメージ。乗っているだけで自然と会話が生まれるクルマですよね。ファッション業界のキャンプ好きの先輩が乗っていることもあって長年憧れていて、将来自分が乗りたいクルマのひとつ。

-How was the design and comfort of the LAND CRUISER OFFICIAL ITEMS clothing?

“THEスエット”という感じのガシッと詰まっている好みの質感です。背景がクルマメーカーということもあって若干のいなたさを感じるのもいいし、「LAND CRUISER」「TOYOTA」のふたつのロゴの強さが際立っていてカッコいい。これほどキャッチーなロゴはないと思います。昔、クルマ屋で整備のバイトをしていたことがあってクルマとアパレルのコラボレーションというのはすごく興味深いです。ディグる対象としてカーカルチャーがあるので、ファッション好きとの親和性は強いのではないかなと。

-What is the point of today's coordination?

はじめはブルージーンズ合わせトラッドな雰囲気で着こなそうと思っていたのですが、悩んだ結果ランクルが持つタフさやギアっぽさのなかに感じる色気を意識してコーディネートしました。
