There are plenty of pop-ups and events coming up.
Fuinam: Looking back at this lineup, it’s quite diverse. Each piece has a solid background to it.
Okajima: I think that’s what makes these limited-edition items so special. You can choose based on the design, or based on the background. This spring’s lineup is designed to let you enjoy them in all those ways.
Fuinam: By the way, has there been any recent news from Atmos?
Okajima: We’ve got all sorts of things in the works, like pop-ups and events. For example, we’re planning to hold a pop-up in conjunction with New Balance’s “Grey Days” campaign.
Fuinam: Oh, really? New Balance’s “Grey Days” is back again this year.
Okajima: The event will run from April 24 to May 9 at the Kyoto store, followed by the Shibuya store from May 9 to 26. The stores will feature items centered around the color gray and, under the message “MY GREY. (There’s more than one shade of gray.),” will showcase a diverse range of “expressions of gray.”
Fuinam: That sounds great. What else do you have?
Okajima: We are planning to hold a pop-up event at our Sapporo store featuring the Adidas running collection. The event will run from April 24 to May 10.
Fuinam: Adidas has really been on a roll lately, hasn't it?
Okajima: Our lineup is getting stronger than ever, featuring not only the much-talked-about new "Hyperboost Edge" but also the "Adizero EVO SL," which remains extremely popular.
Fuinam: Is there a growing trend of wearing running shoes as everyday footwear?
Okajima: That’s right. Of course, there are people who actually use them for running, but more and more people are also wearing them as everyday footwear. I really hope a lot of people will take notice.
