The silhouette of the pants is beautiful from all angles.
The carrot silhouette tapers loosely from the waist to the hem, creating just the right amount of slouchiness. These pants are part of an original collection by Cellar Door, an Italian factory specializing in pants, which has produced pants for more than 200 brands, including such prestigious brands as Hermes and Tom Ford.
What is the appeal of these pants?
They feature a minimalist design with no belt. When it comes to no belt, I personally feel that the waist comes down and I want suspenders, but these pants have side adjusters that allow the waist to be adjusted.
I see that you are wearing a traditional style today.
These beige pants are easy to use in the fall and winter seasons, so I tried to incorporate them in a supporting role. The high-impact jacket already exudes a britishness, but the Union Jack and squid patch on the chest is another key point that adds a playful touch. On the feet, I paired it with burgundy loafers, which is a great combination for early fall because it goes well with the pants. Of course, you can also wear it with sneakers and a rough knit for a stylish look.
Do you have any memories from this summer?
My wife and I rented a car and spent four days and three nights in the Tohoku region. We visited Akita, Iwate, Miyagi, and Yamagata prefectures. We saw Namahage, samurai residences, and the Sansa Dance, and visited a hot spring associated with Kenji Miyazawa. I also went to a small restaurant introduced to me by a client I met here, and in any case, it was a fulfilling trip.

Pants from the in-house collection of Vetta, a factory in the Veneto region of northern Italy. It is said to be the strongest and the last Italian pants factory in the region. The sophisticated silhouette allows the craftsmanship of the pants to shine through, and they can be worn with anything. ¥29,000+TAX (Tomorrowland Lumine Yokohama Store)
