With the Olympics just around the corner, Tokyo , a city that is undergoing rapid change. So, what kind of places should one visit in order to enjoy Tokyo in a more active manner? For this issue, we caught up with a group of runners who usually run lightly in the suburbs of Tokyo on a particular day. Here we introduce some of the most noteworthy spots in Tokyo that they stop by while running, including stores, galleries, route maps, and other places that can be enjoyed from a runner's point of view.

Vinyl Archive designer Ohkita has opened a store and gallery in Ebisu, Tokyo, called "Vinyl Archive.SALT AND PEPPERThe store space on the second floor is lined with books purchased in New York, zines selected from around the world, original goods from the store, and other items that are not bound by tone.

The gallery is on the third floor with pleasantly white walls and high ceilings. The selection of edgy artists, who are by no means a major player in the industry, keeps my interest piqued. The store is filled with things Ohkita-san is partial to, and the cultural stimulation of clothing, art, and music is another unique attraction of Tokyo Run Trip.
