The real SUGATA is seen when the yoroi is removed.
So, what do you think of the JINS x Ronan & Erwan glasses?

Matayoshi:The shape is very beautiful. And it is very lightweight.
Valley bottom:It's quite light, this. There is really no stress.
I would like to talk about the design features. We took the approach of eliminating the "yoroi," the part that connects the front and the hinge, thereby realizing a minimalist form.

Valley bottom:I thought it was kind of like Ronan & Erwan.
Matayoshi:Which part?
Valley bottom:Their products are all "assertive without being assertive. They are very good at adjusting the balance between the two.

Matayoshi:It is easier to create something that is easy to understand and assertive, no matter who sees it.
Valley bottom:That's right. However, if it is too much there, it will look like they are not doing anything. Ronan & Erwan always strike a perfect balance between the two, including this pair of glasses.
Are there any that you are interested in?
Matayoshi:I think the shape is round or oval. Also, I am always attracted to black.
Valley bottom:I'm also interested in light-colored ones, but I think I'll go with black, too.

How does it feel to wear?
Matayoshi:It is so light that I forget I am wearing it, not because I am flattered or anything. Also, it feels like it is blending in with my face within a few minutes of application.

Valley bottom:Good products are made with great care and are expensive. However, as is the case with the Ronan & Erwan collaboration, I honestly think that JINS is amazing because it is reasonably priced despite its sophisticated design.
Matayoshi:This is 5,000 yen.
The concept of "SUGATA" is based on the idea that "a person's beauty comes from their gestures and "figure"" and that "glasses blend in with the wearer's expression and create their "figure". The glasses blend in with the wearer's facial expression and create the wearer's "figure". I would like to know what you both think about this viewpoint.

Matayoshi:It's very difficult to put into words.... But I understand what you are saying. In terms of fashion, I think it is a sense of being conscious of one's body before fashion. If you are sloppy and out of shape due to inactivity, no matter how fashionable you are, it will be of no use at all. I think it is similar to that.
Valley bottom:So, by taking off the yoroi, we become "SUGATA. People tend to wear yoroi, but by taking it off, we can see what is essential.
Matayoshi:Mr. Tanijiri, you have already put it together so beautifully. If you take off the yoroi, you will become "SUGATA. ...Can't you somehow make it sound like I said that (laughs)?
