The supreme everyday wear by the wise.
good tune & the conspires

The supreme everyday wear by the wise.

The streets are calm, many restaurants are crowded, and there is a university nearby that attracts a lively young crowd. Shibuya 2-chome is a town with such a pleasant atmosphere. Do you know a store that has been based in such a place for nearly 10 years and has been closely observing the Tokyo fashion scene? This store, called "good tune," carries many items from brands produced by the store itself. Of particular note is "the conspires," which started this season. The designers are Keizo Shimizu, the representative of "NEPENTHES," and Daiki Suzuki of "ENGINEERED GARMENTS. We asked the store's representative, Makoto Nakahira, to talk about the new brand and the store.

It is important to keep our pace while breathing together.

From innerwear to shirts and outerwear, the collection is packed with Shimizu and Suzuki's specialties.
The consistency of the design, despite the fact that they were designed separately, is due to the relationship between the two.

As he said, "I wanted to sell in both Japan and the U.S.," the tag on the clothes reads "Tokyo - New York.

The clothes designed by Mr. Shimizu are made in Japan, while those designed by Mr. Oki are made in the United States. Both of them are from proper production backgrounds. We are confident in the quality.

True to its word, when you touch the clothes, you can see that they are made of high quality fabrics and sewn properly and carefully down to the smallest detail.

The collection also includes a fleece set-up lineup.
It is a pleasant item with a soft texture that makes you want to touch it all the time.

The boa item introduced earlier can also be worn reversibly.

We use polyester, nylon, and rayon in many of our fabrics. This makes them very lightweight, and even outerwear can be washed easily depending on the material. I want people to feel free to wear them without worrying about anything.

Perhaps because of its location, the store is visited by a wide range of customers, from young people to older customers. Moreover, the clothes of "The Compassionate" are accepted by a wide range of customers without being restricted to a specific age group.

Young people these days are very fashionable. They wear oversized clothes well and have individuality that doesn't lose to the clothes. That's why they wear our clothes so cool. We didn't originally set a target demographic, but the simplicity of the design makes the clothes wearable by both young and old.

Mr. Nakahira says his hobby is fishing. He often goes to Hokkaido with Mr. Shimizu.

When the brand was launched, Mr. Nakahira says he "felt a response" after the first exhibition. Even without the topic of the two designers being involved in the manufacturing process, the aura emitted from the clothes must have attracted buyers.

I knew you would understand," he said. The design itself doesn't feel old-fashioned, and the size is slightly oversized. There are pullover fleece items, too, but I think they have a sense of the times. I think both Mr. Shimizu and Mr. Ohki were aware of the trend.

The first season got off to a good start, with major boutiques carrying the brand despite the fact that it has only just started. When we asked him about the brand's goals for the future, he had this to say.

We have started this project and we want to keep going. To do so, I think it is important to keep our own pace. This is true for the scale of the project as well as for the four of us, myself, John, Mr. Shimizu, and Mr. Ohki, to keep in tune with each other. We have only just begun, so please look forward to what the future holds.
