This season, three key items for "Work Knot Work" will be the key pieces.
Simon spoke candidly about his own creativity. The collection, which combines his background of growing up in London, the sensibility he has cultivated through his activities at "Tomato", and Japanese traditions, is truly what one would call "city ethnic". Lastly, we would like to introduce three key items for the Spring/Summer 2020 collection titled "Sunrise," along with his own words, and show you the gems of "Work Not Work," which can be seen as the culmination of eight years of repeated experimentation and satisfying creations.

The "Mathmatic" graphic is placed on a jacket that reminds one of a London café racer. It has zippers on the sleeves, which can be opened and closed to transform the silhouette. It is similar to the item that Kaneda wore in the movie "Akira" (laughs). I love that movie. There are also pants made of the same fabric, and the silhouette of those pants can be adjusted as well.

This is what we call an "Architect Jacket," a versatile piece of clothing that can be used for kicking a ball around town or, on the other hand, for working straight into the office. In my country, we wore suits even if we were lumberjacks. I sought a silhouette that would allow for ease of movement and yet still give beautiful lines, and I paid close attention to the minimalist details of buttons and pockets."

The "Burner Jacket" was based on my memory of visiting a steel factory when I landed in Arizona a few years ago. The jackets worn by the workers there were very cool. They were sturdy with thick fabrics, but they had no collars, and the lines around the neck stood out and were very elegant. I was attracted by this unbalanced charm, so I designed this item."
