Luxurious 2-day/1-night ski trip to enjoy powder snow and gourmet food

The long awaited snow season is here again this year! . So, it's time for HOUYHNHNM Ski Club♡ to get moving. This winter will be the fourth season since its establishment. This time, we decided to change things up a bit and went to Sapporo, Hokkaido , with the theme of "How much snow and gourmet food can you enjoy in 2 days and 1 night? Even if you are too busy to take a 2-day/1-night vacation, we are sure that you will be satisfied with this 200% ski report.

On the second day, we had no choice but to enjoy the powder from the morning!

Here we are, at Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort for the second time on this trip. Although "Sapporo Bankei Ski Resort" is closer to New Chitose Airport, I wanted to stop by Otaru before returning home, so I went to Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort again.

The snow conditions were better than yesterday, and after warming up, the skiers decided to enjoy the excellent powder at their own pace.

Mr. Ida, who was nervous yesterday, said, "I enjoyed skiing today without fear! He said. I think that beginners are the ones who practice on soft powder snow, as it is the shortest way to improve!

Incidentally, the ski wear worn by the members of HOUYHNHNM's Ski Club♡ is also from the latest collection by "Salomon". The stylish silhouette makes it easy to move around, and of course, it is lightweight and warm, so it is stress-free even if you wear it for a long time. Since they will be moving their bodies in unfamiliar situations, it is very important that they do not feel uncomfortable while wearing the clothes.

This time we also skied in the colder nighttime conditions, but we were able to enjoy ourselves comfortably, which I thought was due in part to the functional wear.

After spending the morning enjoying the powder snow to the fullest, we said goodbye to the slopes. We are all a bit reluctant to leave the slopes, but now it's time for a delicious lunch, so we will be light on our feet. But now it was time for a delicious lunch, and that made our spirits light. We drove to Otaru and headed for "Yabuhan," a long-established buckwheat noodle restaurant.

We toasted with beer as we talked about how good the snow was in Hokkaido and how good it felt to ski! Well, this time is too blissful.

Herring is a specialty of Otaru in winter, so I ordered a bowl of soba noodles topped with tender boiled herring, grated yam, wakame seaweed, and herring roe. The herring was delicious. The moderate saltiness and sweetness soaked into my body.

After filling up, of course, we headed to Otaru for a stroll. We headed to Otaru Triangle Market, where we could buy fresh crabs, sea urchins, and other seafood at reasonable prices. It is just a 2-minute walk from Otaru Station, so we decided to wander around until just in time for the train on our way home.

Then, we bought Otaru beer and sushi rolls at Otaru station and had a party again! From Otaru Station, there is a direct train service to New Chitose Airport, so we enjoyed the view of the Sea of Japan in the middle of winter and the feeling of traveling.

Well, that's a wrap on our luxurious two-day and one-night ski trip, which was filled with powder snow, gourmet food, and a whole lot of fun. If you go all the way to Hokkaido, you may think that you need to take 3 or 4 days off (......), but in fact, you can enjoy yourself to the fullest even with just a 2-day weekend, depending on your plans.

If you use the Sapporo Experience Base and Salomon Station, which HOUYHNHNM Ski Club ♡ used this time, you can really enjoy the finest powder with a lighter weight. If you want to enjoy fun and luxurious adult skiing this season, check them out.
