Takahashi:Since I was a member of an industrial team, I have been more particular about the clothes and shoes I wear when running than anyone else. Not only during races, but also during daily practice, my motivation changes depending on the clothes I wear and the shoes I wear.
Makino:Yes, yes, motivation depends on clothing and shoes. However, as far as clothing is concerned, it is true that, in extreme cases, you can run a 10-km jog with anything you want. I think the most important thing is shoes. I usually wear only performance-type running shoes so that I can start running whenever I feel like it. The functions of modern running shoes are constantly evolving, and there are more and more cool-looking shoes on the market these days.
