PROFILE
Born in 1993 in Saitama , Japan. He has been familiar with movies and animation since he was a child, and majored in film and theater at university. While in college, he produced several independent films and aspired to become a filmmaker. After graduating from college, he went to Taiwan by himself without finding a job, and formed a community with creators active in various fields. Then in 2019, he appeared in "Terrace House TOKYO 2019-2020," which was also a turning point for him and became a major topic of conversation. Currently based in Japan, she is active in modeling and acting as well as expressing herself through creation in many different fields.@matuzakishohei
Shohei, you also work as a model. Is there anything you are conscious of in terms of fashion in general?
Fashion is not my forte, but I used to watch movies and imitate the way cool characters dressed. Recently, I've been admiring the wardrobe choices of Miyako Bellatti, a stylist who works for A24, a film distribution company in New York.
Shohei: That's a very typical inspiration for you, isn't it? By the way, do you have any key points for today's outfit?
The shirt is from a brand called FUBU, which used to be popular in B-BOY fashion. I like the way it looks. It's a simple outfit with wide pants made by my friend PLATEAU STUDIO of Taiwan. The style has a relaxed, laid-back feel, but the feet look solid.

What is your impression of Ojek?
." "You may have never seen shoes that are so comfortable even though they are loafers. . They look like loafers themselves, even though they can be worn as casually as slip-ons. In my private life, I tend to wear sneakers because I prioritize ease of movement, but for work and formal occasions, I want to wear leather shoes, so I think they will come in handy for both situations.
Do you like the design or functionality of the product?
When I first saw it, I thought the gold chain decoration was nice. I usually wear gold necklaces, so it makes me feel good to have gold as a subtle touch. The sole is also thick and solid, so there seems to be none of the stress that comes with leather shoes.
Do you feel that you have changed recently after working as an actor and a model?
I think the environment has changed a little since I participated in Terrace House, as I became known to a lot of people. I had never filmed in an environment like Terrace House or appeared on a reality show before, so when I think about it now, it was a very valuable experience for me. In this way, I have always been influenced by the people around me, and I would like to make more use of my weapons and background in the future.
Lastly, please tell us about your future plans.
I am currently active as a model and actor, but I am still interested in the visual art side as well, and I have always wanted to continue my expressive activities without categorization, such as directing pop-up stores with friends and holding group exhibitions. It is something that comes naturally to me, and I think there are advantages to having each activity have a positive influence on the other.
