Kentoku Kono

Sometimes worn in luxury.
Mr. Kono has been with Ships for five years. Looking at the way he wears his jacket and slacks with aplomb, it is clear that he prefers a dressier style, regardless of whether it is public or private. Because of his familiarity with dresses, luxury items are by far the most common items he usually picks up, and he says, "I often wear white T's from high brands such as Prada and Jil Sander.
When asked if this is because he fell in love with the quality and design of a high brand, he simply says, "It's mostly self-satisfaction. I wear white T-shirts, a universal item, with a bit of luxury. But I don't want something that has the logo of a famous brand on it," he continues, "I want it to have a sense of quality that only I can tell when I'm wearing it.
In other words, it is quite natural for Mr. Kono to see "Haines" alongside high-brand white T-shirts. He picks up "Haynes Japan Fit" in the same way he picks up "Prada. Haynes is a partner that I want to pick up first and foremost," he said. I'm wearing it with a dress style today, and the just-right soft 5.3-ounce fabric gives it a presence that is as strong as the jacket and slacks. The perfect sizing, neither tight nor loose, is also just right for assuming a dress outfit," he says. Among his favorites is a model specially ordered by Ships. Actually, it only has pockets, but the effect is tremendous. The underwear feel is instantly dispelled, making it easy to fit in with Kono's usual style.
