From left to right, Yurika (Dr), Cony Plankton (Gt&Vo), eliy (Ba) . formed in 2016. A girl rock band whose sound passes through garage, new wave, and post-punk . Since their formation, they have supported many international bands and will release their first album "TAWINGS" in December 2019. One of the bands to watch out for in the future.

Cony Plankton ("Cony"):I am Cony, a guitarist and vocalist.
Yurika:I am Yurika, a drummer .

Thank you (laughs). What is the connection between you and TAWINGS, Mr. Kagami?
Kagami:Cony and I bumped shoulders on the street, didn't we? Wasn't it?
Cony:Was it such a sticky way to meet (laughs)? No, it wasn't. We first met on a photo shoot together.
Kagami:Yes, that's right. I used Cony as a model for my and Tawing's Series. And each member has his/her own personality. I think they have a good balance. And of course, their music is great, too. That's why I was interested in them.
How did you form the band?
Cony:At a place called "U.F.O. CLUB" in Koenji, I was talking with a former member named Kanae, who has now left the band, about "I want to start a girls' band! I was talking with Kanae, a former member who has now left the band, about wanting to start a girl band. At the time, there were eliy-chan, Kanae-chan, and a boy named Ishi-chan who played the drums.

Kagami:What? Really? I was just kidding (laughs)!
Yurika:When I was invited to the concert, too, I wondered why, since Ishi-chan (the real one) was there. I thought, "Why not?
Cony:Ishi-chan was very good on the drums, but I personally had a desire to solidify the group with only girls, so I then asked Yurika to join the group.
Kagami:I see. I can't play an instrument, so I think everyone is great. I can't play an instrument, so I'm really impressed with you guys.
Cony:Hmmm, well, maybe so. Not that it's a given, but .
Do the members ever clash with each other when writing songs?
Cony:. We don't fight, but we do have discussions.
Kagami:A band with only women seems difficult, doesn't it? There are so many things to do, aren't there? Well, I guess it happens to guys, too. When you are writing a song, there are very few moments when everyone agrees that it is good, right?
Cony:I don't think that happens very often, does it? Even if I am not satisfied with a song when I am writing it, I am glad to hear it later when I listen to it again. I think that everyone's feelings are not the same all the time, and that we are always growing.
Kagami:Yes, that's right. . it's natural that our thoughts and feelings change along the way.
Do any other changes in your personal life affect your expression? For example, do you have a new lover, get married, etc. .
Cony:Well.... . but I think it is important to keep going, even if there are many obstacles. I am a woman, so I have to take maternity leave and so on. My goal is to get over that and keep going.
Kagami:It's kind of like Princess Princess! You know, they reunited the Pre-Preps too...the TAWINGS are a modern day version of the Princess Princesses. I love "Papa" and "Diamonds".
Cony:It's nice to be told that by someone who likes to preen....
Kagami:TAWINGS looks like he's going to be in a band when he gets older!
Yurika:It would be great if that were the case.
