The profound world of regular T-shirts.
Dig It Regular T-Shirt

The profound world of regular T-shirts.

While "age" and "rarity" are of course part of the thrill of vintage clothing, it's a bit nonsensical to get caught up in that alone. There is a lot of fun to be had with regular vintage clothing. We have invited Mr. Nakano of "dojoe", Mr. Hatanaka of "weber", and Mr. izmt of "AnoLuck", who are holding a vintage clothing event focusing on regular T-shirts, "Doregular T-shirt Exhibition", to exhibit their items at the event. They taught us about the appeal and enjoyment of regular T-shirts while holding the T-shirts to be exhibited at the event in their hands. Please take a look at the deep world of regular T-shirts, which can be seen from different perspectives by shifting your viewpoint!

Now is the time to propose the Good Enough taste of the 90s!

Item01_ CHIAT/DAY T-Shirt

Hatanaka:. Now it's my turn. First of all, I would like to introduce this T-shirt that says "GOOD ENOUGH IS NOT ENOUGH".

izmt:This was a surprise, I thought it was " Good Enough.

Hatanaka:I didn't know there was such a thing in "Good Enough" at first, but when I looked it up, I found it had nothing to do with "Good Enough! But when I looked it up, I found out that it had nothing to do with the Good Enough magazine. The "CHIAT/DAY" printed on the back seems to be the name of an advertising agency.

izmt:The body is a "round Haynes" beefy, so it must be from the 80s . That means it was made before "Good Enough".

Hatanaka:Good Enough was founded in 1991. But apparently, according to the people involved, it has been around since 1989.

Nakano:In any case, it's amazing that this message "T" existed before "Good Enough" was created. . It's an excellent design and message that could have been used in "Good Enough".

Hatanaka:At the time, Good Enough had something similar to this. The font was very similar to this one.

izmt:The font is like "Impact" but a little different. Good Enough" also used a font like Impact, but not quite. It's amazing, even if it's just a coincidence.

Item02_Good Enough Parody T-Shirt

Hatanaka:Next, again with the " Good Enough " green connection. This is a major American brand.

izmt:That's great too.

Hatanaka:I think the original was probably sampled from Good Enough's "END RACISM," but it was interesting to see a major brand do it. Good Enough" had the year printed as 1991, so at first I thought it was based on this one (laughs).

Nakano:You certainly don't know if you don't know.

Hatanaka:The designs of "Good Enough" back then are still cool and excellent even now, aren't they? Brands are looking for sampling sources from all over the world, but I thought that Good Enough's taste might be a good idea now.

izmt:I used to refer to it a lot around 2003. I used to replace the "g" in "gram g" with "&" and so on. It is true that this is the case now.

Item03_Graffiti T-Shirt

izmt:To be honest, I'm still not sure how good this area is. I'll leave it to you (laughs).

Hatanaka:The copyright says it was made in 1993. It has a kind of "inata-ness" or yankiness, in the vein of "Carl Kanai" at that time. At first glance, this graffiti looks like nothing, but I wanted to suggest that it might be possible to go around the circle.

Nakano:This isn't an airbrush, is it?

Hatanaka:Silk prints.

izmt:The edition is substandard, isn't it?

Hatanaka:. yes, it is. . you should see it in person, but it even has the presence of an art piece.

All:(Laughter).

Hatanaka:The body is good too. It's not from a manufacturer, but it has a thick body that vintage clothing lovers would like. Also, these shirts tend to have tags on the hem and sleeves, but this one doesn't. It's like a Warhol hand-printed shirt. It's like a Warhol hand-printed shirt, to put it nicely.

izmt:That's putting it well (laughs). I don't feel that element at all, though.

Nakano:If you make a mistake, you have a Betty-chan feeling. . like, "Itao's wife-to-be," (laughs).

Hatanaka:To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would put it up this time, but I wanted to promote it as a Buskawa slot.

Item04_Skateboarding T-Shirt

Hatanaka:This is a pocket T-shirt with a loose surf-like message. Relax" on the chest and "Do what you want. Because skateboarding" on the back.

izmt:Suddenly you're very stylish (laughs).

Nakano:Let's do what we want, it's skateboarding.

izmt:That said, it's not a good idea to do it in front of a convenience store. That is annoying, so be careful.

Item05_FRIENDS FOREVER T-Shirt

Hatanaka:The last one is this.

Nakano:"FRIENDS FOEVER" , I love this one. I'm already embarrassed and ashamed just by looking at the logo...I can't print it out at Kinko's (lol).

izmt:"Friends for life" is out of the question when you put it in print (laughs).

Hatanaka:The font looks like Feather Friends, but is it handwritten?

Nakano:I love the subtle colors.

izmt:It's an embarrassing message, but it's also very graceful that it's only printed on the front.
