Q:What was your impression when you heard about "THE CO-OP" project?

A:Mr. Kaneko told us that this idea was born while he was actually in deep contact with customers at the store (reshop). . I was very impressed when he said that young people are very powerful. . I was very sympathetic to the project that they really wanted to make things for the so-called student co-op.

Q:What were your school years like? In particular, how did you encounter fashion, art, and culture?

A:I first encountered American vintage when I was in my third year of junior high school , and I shopped around with numerous mistakes. It was a time when there was no Internet, so I relied on the opinions of store clerks and buyers, read magazines from cover to cover, and spent all my time at flea markets (laughs).

Q:Please explain the items you have created for this project.

A:This is based on the sport coat that "Captain Sunshine" has been developing as a standard while making updates and adjustments. This is an American classic blazer with a stepped 3B, three patched pockets, and a center hook vent. Since shoulder pads have been eliminated and no hard interlining is used, we hope you will feel free to wear it like a coverall without any tension. It is a smooth-looking worsted 100%.

Q:If you were to teach something to students today, what comes to mind?

A:. In this age of information overload. It may be easy to change clothes, but we would like you to value the basic aspects of seeing, touching, and feeling.

Q:Please give a message to students who are new to your brand at THE CO-OP.

A:We would like to make clothes that will last into the future and that are filled with feeling.
