Solaris Hat Maker SOLARIS HATMAKERS & Co.

SOLARIS HATMAKERS & Co. x 10 sagger bucket hat ¥25,300 in TAX
Q:What images come to mind when you hear the word "summer festival"?
A:It reminded me of my childhood. Back then, everyone in town, from children to the elderly, was having fun together without any generational barriers. I looked forward to a space where I could stay out late, talk with adults, and be a little taller than usual. I hope this pop-up will also become a place where people can interact with each other in a way they normally can't.
Q:What kind of items are in this collaboration?
A:Based on the shape of Pigu's personal woven hat, which she loves to use, we constructed a cool and refreshing hat suitable for summer festivals using natural grass called raffia grass. It was my first attempt at giving shape to Pigu's idea of embroidery on natural grass, and I struggled a bit, but it was a new challenge and fun for me as well. I think Pigu's charm lies in the fact that he is not bound by stereotypes.

A week later, I was waiting for a traffic light at 5 am on Enoshima when I looked to the side and there he was again. Then together!" So we went surfing and finally exchanged contact information (laughs). (Laughs.) It's not often that you meet someone like that, so it left a strong impression on me. Now, he is a good older man, a friend, and a beloved colleague with whom I travel and play together.

Boogie Woogie Works Boogie-Woogie Works

Boogie-Woogie Works x 10 sagger Olive Motel Tee ¥10,780 in TAX
Q:The theme of this issue is summer festivals. Please tell us about your summer festival episodes.
Tommy:There was a festival in my hometown, Ibaraki Prefecture, called "YOKAPE FESTIVAL," where everyone dressed up in style, planning out their outfits a month in advance and nervously hoping they wouldn't meet a girl they liked. It was a big event for us as kids. But in the end, we got tangled up with delinquents and got into a lot of trouble (laughs).
Mommy:I wore a yukata for the first time in my life to a fireworks display at Enoshima, but I haven't worn a yukata since my thumbnail got caught on my nail on the crowded train on the way home and ripped off my entire nail... I would like to try wearing a yukata again next year!
Q:What kind of items are in this collaboration?
Tommy:We collaborated with "10 SAGBOX" last summer at "Kenzai Depot" in Tsunashima. At that time, we made T-shirts using the bedspread of the Olive Motel as a motif, and I have the best memory of seeing so many people come in the hot weather. At that time, Pigu told me that he wanted to take the two of us to the Olive Motel, and we decided to go to the U.S. (Laughs.) Since we had already talked about the 10 Sagan Festival at that time, I looked for a cute bedspread pattern to release again. I actually held the bedspread in my hands and saw it with my own eyes, so I was able to make it more realistic this time.

Prime Skateboarding Prime Skateboard

Prime Skateboard x 10 sagger board ¥12,100 in TAX
Q:What are some of your memories of Mr. Pigu?
A:I have many strong memories... In L.A., I tore my anterior cruciate ligament while skating on the first day. While I couldn't walk properly, I bought some mysterious painkillers at a pharmacy and was like, "Let's go play next time. When the two of us went to Bangkok, I woke up at 7:00 a.m. and stayed up until 5:00 a.m. playing at a club. I was jet-lagged and wanted to sleep, but I woke up at 7:00 a.m. every day and swam in the pool (laughs). (Laughs.) I am confident in my physical fitness, too, but I am way above that. I don't even get hungover! When I go out for drinks with Mr. Pigu, we always end up going on multiple rounds of drinks, and I always end up going down first.
Q:What kind of items are in this collaboration?
A:With an emphasis on quality, we commissioned a US manufacturer to produce our skate decks. GENERATOR" is a very well-known company that produces high quality decks for the world's most prestigious brands. We proceeded without deciding on a theme, but we both liked the image of each other and decided on one shot. The graphics are designed with elegance and impact in mind.
