This time, Mr. Katsutoshi Nishimoto of "Nishimoto is the mouth" was introduced by Mr. Mitsuhiro Kubo in the previous issue. We asked him to name five pairs that he particularly likes recently, and asked him why he chose each pair and what he likes about them.

01：New Balance×the Apartment_ML801 GTX The bright colors are irresistible.

Today, please tell us about your latest favorite sneakers. Let's start with these "New Balance" sneakers. This is a special-order model made by the Apartment, a select store in Kichijoji.

Nishimoto:Yes, I am looking for a new product. It was released in June this year. I really wanted to get it, so I got up early on the morning of the release date and went to buy it. What am I doing at 40 years old? I thought to myself, "What am I doing at 40?

What did you like so much about it?

Nishimoto:Simply, they look cool. The base is a trail running shoe with moderate volume, and the upper is GORE-TEX, there is a carabiner with a logo, graphics on the insole, and the detail work is also very clever.

And what I like most is the coloring. I can't get enough of the bright yellow coloring.

The use of color is indeed beautiful.

Nishimoto:This year is a bad year for me, and I'm in a big killing zone. I heard that yellow is my lucky color, so I thought it would be good in that respect as well (laughs).

I actually liked these so much that I bought two pairs. I bought two pairs of these sneakers and decided not to wear them right away, but to let them sit for a while before wearing them. I'm thinking of wearing them after I've had them for a while, because when it comes to sneakers, it's when you put them on that counts.
