The impact on the art industry could be significant in the future. (Kagami)
Has the art industry had any influence on you?
Kagami: I think the West has had a pretty big impact.
Hirayama: Exhibitions and other events are postponed.
Kagami: Museums are closed.
Subject Office: Some of the galleries seem to have disappeared.
Nakamura: I hear a lot of places have gone under.
Kagami: But there is no such place in Japan, right?
Hirayama: I just don't get the story, but it seems like a lot of work for a small place.
Kagami: It seems that in the US, the big galleries are safe and the smaller ones are tougher.
You mean you can't sell your work because you can't get customers?

Kagami: Yes, yes. I can't sell it, and I can't do an opening reception or anything like that.
Nakamura: And the people who spend the money will have tighter purse strings.
It's not a necessity.
Kagami: If they were hungry, they wouldn't buy art, so it's a wealthy hobby. But maybe it's times like this that people are buying up all the stuff. It seems the president of Amazon is also a collector.
Are there price fluctuations?
Kagami: Art can't lower prices in these situations.
Nakamura: Maybe it's unofficially and someone is haggling over the price. Then there might be something like tying up and selling younger works together.
Is the domestic impact really that small?
Kagami: I don't know. Maybe it will get bigger and bigger from now on.

Hirayama: If that happens, it will affect us artists.
Kagami: Ah, I'm getting kind of excited...
You are emotionally unstable today.
Kagami: You feel like you're at your wit's end. "Don't go outside!" Masks! "Avoid the dense stuff!" It's like being told not to do anything.
Hirayama: You have recently mentioned the "five small" things.
Small group, small hour, small plate, small voice, small ventilation.
Hirayama: We've been here for about an hour now, and it's time to go home.
All: LOL!
Hirayama: You always seem to be saying nice things at press conferences.
Kagami: I wish they would say something interesting once in a while. Like, "Smaller pants.
Nakamura: Or put it in an interesting way.
Kagami: They could make a presentation after breathing helium gas (laughs).
All: LOL!
