Please tell us what you think of the items when you actually wear them.
The shoes were so comfortable to wear that I wondered if they were cushioned. Water repellency is unusual for a wool finish, isn't it? I also thought they fit Japanese people's feet somewhat well. I have wide feet, but I can wear them without any difficulty.
What kind of style do you usually wear?
It's more about ease of movement. That's why I always wear a large size. The shoes and knitwear I'm wearing now from "ALLBIRDS" are in that context, so they fit me naturally. It's just my mood at the time, but I also like to coordinate with a variety of colors. By the way, today's outfit is much more restrained (laughs).

Do you usually do something environmentally friendly?
Since the 2011 earthquake, the environment and the earth have gradually come up on the agenda, and I have started to think about them myself. Many of the people around me now are aware of these issues, and my wife volunteers to pick up cans on her days off. At home, I try to wash my clothes with water only, without using detergent, and I use cloth diapers for my children instead of paper diapers.
We have become so accustomed to a life overflowing with conveniences that it would take more effort to stop now. However, I believe that people have always done such things, so I don't think there is anything we cannot do. However, it is not something that I alone can say, and I think it is a difficult problem unless each one of us is aware of it.

Do you have any changes in your work before and after Corona?
My work involves styling spaces for photo shoots and exhibitions, as well as buying and selling plants. To be honest, the former type of work has decreased due to Corona, but the number of people who want plants has increased. Seeing greenery naturally calms people's hearts. I think it was a natural progression that the demand for plants increased with the Corona disaster. As for myself, I am glad that I had time to stop and think about the path I should take in the future.
