When we asked the creator, Mr. Kawai, about the details, he said, "The clothes have reached the chair. After wearing the clothes, washing them, and putting them back on again, they arrive at the chair, not at another wearer or disposal site. Perhaps it was "KOTA KAWAI" that created this new point. One of the most eye-catching pieces was this one, in which a number of camouflage-patterned cardigans, parkas, and long T-shirts are layered and knitted on a red frame. The group exhibition "COMING OF AGE" was curated by Virgil Abloh and featured 20 photographers from around the world. A pop-up exhibition was held at the "Biblioteca" book space on the 7th floor of Dover Street Market GINZA in early 2020, and the photo T-shirts that were displayed there are still on sale. The T-shirts printed with the photographs of these leading artists are still on sale today. Sitting on the front is a shot from Araki's legendary debut work "Satchin," a lively portrait of mischievous children in the 1960s. I had seen this piece many times in photo books, so I had to be prepared to put my sleeves on, but since it is financially difficult to buy prints and posters of his works, I thought it would be a good idea to incorporate it into my daily life as a piece of clothing. The founder, Manne Glad, is a surfboard shaper and designer who originally worked for Acne Studios. The lineup is based on surf culture, but with bold patterns, graphics, and prints that are uniquely Scandinavian in the best sense of the word. Among them, we chose a cap with the brand's logo embroidered on the front. It may look like an ordinary logo item, but the font and the size of the letters are carefully chosen. The cap also has a unique souvenir feel, and its sense of balance is quite impressive. As someone who has recently become addicted to caps, this is a must-have for me.

I sometimes visit Shin-Okubo in search of super spicy food. Recently, I have become addicted to the Cheese Pokpokchukmisumgyeopsal at Doyajiya. It is a teppan dish of crunchy octopus, pork, and vegetables stir-fried with spicy miso paste, and it is absolutely delicious.
