Dispelling the image of a high threshold! Many items for daily use.

Let's start with the 2021SS items from "Dunhill," so let's take them in our hands and have a look at them.
Westfield:I had a strong image of dressy items such as suits and tailoring, but there are also casual items like this.
Nishimata:Indeed. I checked out the official online boutique and what's in the lineup now, and there are some items I'd like to check out for daily wear.
Westfield:What kind of item is it?
Nishimata:It is an M-65 type jacket, and at first glance it looks normal, but it has a down vest as an inner lining.
Westfield:Well, it looks interesting. I can see from this that you have put in the essence of work while also paying attention to tailoring.
Nishimata:This linen jacket and pants would look great on Ms. Nishino.

Westfield:The linen jacket is backless and has an interesting transparency. The pants are like trousers but with painter's details, and the sewing is done with three stitches, so I think they are sewn at a factory that can make proper workwear.
Nishimata:That's a good point (laughs).
Westfield:In a manner of speaking, I make clothes (laughs).

Nishimata:I see that you also offer T-shirts. Does this one have "dunhill" on the chest?
Westfield:I'm very particular about this. There are really few places that can do chain stitch embroidery nowadays.
Were there any items that caught your attention?
Nishimata:I was interested in this white knit and others. It looks normal, but it's quite design and detail oriented.

Westfield:The characteristic knitting pattern of the ribbed part of the neck seems to be "reduced", but I think it is a daring expression of the knitting pattern that definitely appears when knitting the curve.
Nishimata:It is quite intricate. The threadbare detailing throughout is also interesting. Which items caught your attention, Mr. Nishino?

Westfield:For me, it's this leather bag. It is designed like a cigarette case, but the connection of the flap uses the detail of an attache case, which is new.
Nishimata:This is cute. If Mr. Nishino or a fashion YouTuber were to casually use it, it would be like, "What brand is this?" It would be a buzz-worthy item (lol).
Do you have a different image of "Dunhill" now that you have actually seen the items?
Westfield:It has changed the way I look at things quite a bit. I had a strong image of suits and tailoring, but I can feel your attention to casual items as well.
Nishimata:I agree. There were many items that I would like to use in styling .......
Westfield:I felt the image of "reinterpretation of American casual from the British point of view," such as adding work details to dress items.
Nishimata:Indeed. Perhaps it is just a coincidence, but I think that many of the items selected this time were American-style designs.
