I am now able to switch on and off properly.

After leaving Kakinoha, Kakimoto's last stop was the ocean. He says he loves the ocean so much that he eventually moved to Zushi after discovering its charms through his hobby of surfing.
. "It depends on the time of year, but I would like to surf twice a week. After a dip in the ocean, my mind becomes very clear. I think it's the same with running or sauna, but I also feel a meditative element. I feel as if everything that has built up in my body is released, or rather, I feel a sense of resetting.

On the other hand, Kakimoto says that the time spent in the car "is a time for thinking. If surfing is an output, driving is an input. The two coexist well in Kakimoto's daily life and may be providing him with a good flow of activities.
I drive to and from my house to Kakinoha by car, and while I'm driving, I don't even turn on music; I just think. If I turn on music, my thoughts are diverted. What should I do to give shape to my work ideas? It's the perfect place to think about that.

The sun was about to set and the sky was gradually darkening. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day and we could not see a beautiful sunset, but the sea was still slightly reddish.
Once you live here, there are times when you don't think you can live in Tokyo anymore. The biggest thing is that I am now able to switch on and off properly. . I am able to concentrate much better because of that. When I was in Tokyo, I felt like I was in that mode even when I wasn't working. But when I come here, I can completely turn it off. I can relax and change what I wear. I think that is something you can only do when you are this far away from home.

Zushi and Tokyo. The balance created by moving back and forth between Zushi and Tokyo is ideal for Mr. Kakimoto, who says, "I have the feeling that this is what I was looking for after all. Finally, when we asked Kakimoto what he would like to do in the future, he responded, "I think I have found the right balance.
I will turn 40 in a little while, and I want to be more free to do what I want to do. I created Kakinoha to realize this, and now I want to enhance the store. A store is a place to communicate, and it makes sense for me to keep it as small and simple as possible, and to do it on my own. Thankfully, most of the customers who come to the store now are from Tokyo, so I would like to create a store with a sense of trust so that more local people will come to the store.
