This one is by Osaka-based designer Lukasek Jonathan, who specializes in bandanas. This one in the photo is titled "Tomato Soup," and other designs include a moth, a man and an animal doing a hip dance (......), and each piece is fearless. The motifs are all new, but the faded colors give a sense of security. I wonder what people of 500 years ago would have looked like if I showed them to them.

Karimoku Furniture is a long-established company that has been in business for over 80 years. However, I had a rude thought that there might not be any playfulness in the design because of that.... However, when I looked at the website, I was intrigued by the sofas. It is one of the "Polar Lounge" series released by Karimoku New Standard in March, and at first glance, I fell in love with its charming appearance. You can choose the height, the width of the seat, the oak arms, whether or not to have side tables, and the upholstery. Personally, I like the feeling of the side table being added after the fact. It gives me a relaxing and calming feeling. The depth of nostalgia that seems to fit in well in any room, from Japanese-style rooms to Western-style rooms, is indeed impressive.
