Maruhiro" main store and cafe where the whole family can enjoy shopping.
Now, let's go back to the entrance. The building at the entrance serves as the main branch of MARUHIRO.

As you can see, here Maruhiro's Hasami-yaki pottery is displayed in a wide range of styles, from everyday tableware to art pieces collaborated with many artists and brands.
We want not only adults but also children to have fun, so we have candy bars and toys for them to play with at the park. I want the whole family to go shopping here."

There is also a café inside the store. It is a place for families to come on weekends, or for locals to take a break from work.
The café is run by Keisuke Matsuo, an independent coffee shop owner from Fukuoka's manucoffee. We set up a counter table in the park so that people can enjoy coffee outside as well as inside the building. We also sell special boxed lunches made by "Maruhiro" employees, and a kitchen car from Fukuoka will come and serve delicious food. So it's possible to take a break for a meal here."
According to Baba, "Actually, Matsuo-kun participated in this park as a director, and together with DDAA, we came up with the overall structure of the park." From here, we will present a dialogue between Baba and Matsuo. Let's hear what they have to say about the story behind the creation of "HIROPPA" and the park's special features.
