What kind of brand is A.P.C. to you?
At first, I always read "A.P.C." as "A.P.C." (laughs). (Laughs.) I didn't know how to read it officially until I was a sophomore in high school. I didn't really like thick denim at the time, and I really wanted to buy "A.P.C." denim. . But I didn't have any money at the time, so I found a pair in the perfect size at a brand-name thrift store and bought them. The denim is now about five or six years old, and the color has faded wonderfully. I am often asked by people I meet, "Where did you get it?

I really only wear them. I like to think back on the times when I wore them.
What attracted you to A.P.C.'s denim?
A.P.C.'s denim looks good on college girls when worn by college girls, on gals when worn by gals, and on fashion freaks when worn by fashion freaks. I like the fact that they look good on fashion freaks, too. I don't think there are many brands like that. I felt that when I was in high school, and that impression hasn't changed.
As Shunsaku mentioned earlier, I am often asked which denim I am wearing. I think it's because they are not so distinctive, in a good sense.
Yes, I think part of it is the lack of symbolism. . I like clothes that are simple, but you can't tell where they are from. I feel safe, so when I want to relax, I always wear A.P.C.'s denim.
A: Recently, big size items have become a trend, but are you particular about the size of your denim?
First of all , it is straight. I prefer a tight-fitting silhouette to an oversized one. I used to wear thick pants in the past, but I didn't feel comfortable in them. I feel that if I wore them like I do, I would look sloppy.

I didn't know that. It would be nice to be able to embroider not only on denim that I have purchased, but also on items that I already own, so that I can become more attached to them. If I were to embroider, I would put "A.P.C." and read it as "A.P.C.," going back to my original intention (laughs).

The silhouette and color were the same as the A.P.C. denim I mentioned earlier, so I was really dressed as usual. I wore a vintage soccer T-shirt, which I have been collecting recently, as an inner layer. The design is a bit flashy, but it still looks good on me, which is what makes A.P.C.'s denim so great.
Do you have any sizing considerations?
I don't look good in coats, even with my height, so I always choose a short jacket, bomber jacket, or stadium jacket with pants that are about this slim. It would be better if the tops I wear with them are a little larger, so that they look sleeker.
