I like hoodies and I collect full zips! I like them because they are perfect for the subtle season when it's hot during the day and cold at night. The silhouette of a full-zip hoodie is important, and this was an easy silhouette to match.
How did you come up with the styling?
I like to wear my full zip hoodies large. Today, I layered a thin fabric sweatshirt underneath.
You wear them as if they were outerwear. I wear military pants with it.
I always try to match the overall tone of the outfit. If the hoodie had been blue instead of green, I would have worn denim pants. I like these military pants because they have a stoned, falling, feminine look. The outfit was coordinated with my favorite things, but it was simple, so I wore glasses. This is my usual styling.
The full-zip parka really suits you!
Very few brands are releasing any of them these days. I have an image that there are not many women in particular who wear full-zip jackets. However, I think there is a certain stylishness that only women can bring out, so I am taking up the challenge.
Mr. Arihara, as a Zip Hoodie lover, how do you feel about the comfort of this "9 oz. terry fleece"?
Just the right thickness. I think it is reassuring to have because you can wear it as outerwear in this season and as innerwear when it gets a little colder. I also like the back-facing that you often see on old hoodies. I think full-zip parkas are simple clothes that you can choose without worrying about whether to wear another one because it's a little chilly today. It's smooth and easy to wear, but still fashionable. It's nice to be able to wear it without thinking too much about it.
