What Yamada and Imojo do to avoid looking backward.

What kind of communication did you have with the director?
Imojosei:I didn't talk much with the director. He told me to watch over Ai as Miyuki because she was in this state, and it was like the director and I were watching over her. I think that was fine for Miyuki as a character. Miyuki is like a mother or grandmother to Ai, and she is connected to Ai in a deeper way, and she knows more about Ai than Ai herself.
Miyuki is indeed a motherly figure, or rather, a being who accepts love. She seems weak, but she is strong.
Yamada:I am a little afraid of Miyuki (laughs).
Imojosei:Yes, the body itself is sick and weak, but it doesn't seem to collapse in a little bit.

I also felt that being young and fearless is invincible when I saw Ai's rush. I am not saying that you two are invincible, but is there anything you do to avoid looking backward?
Yamada:I cherish the everyday times that Imojo mentioned, such as cooking a meal or knitting, for the sake of balance. I don't have such a positive view of myself, and I used to think I could totally live on my own more, but that's not the case these days. I try to make time to not think about anything by cooking or knitting so that my hoarded emotions don't turn outward.
It really is rational, unlike love.
Imojosei:I take the stance of standing naked and unarmed. I often do things without thinking, thinking that I can handle it, but because of that, I sometimes get hurt. At those times, I am helped by the independent people around me. I am thankful that there are people around me who live their lives without depending on me.
This is also a different way of life from that of Miyuki's role.
Imojosei:Isn't it really the other way around? (Laughs) I think so.
