How long have you all been skiing at AXIS?
Turtle Island:. I've been skiing there since it opened 6 years ago.
Aida:I started with the Advance Cup three years ago .
Plants and trees:Our house is about 4 years old.
What is the attraction of "AXIS"?
Aida:In other parks, there are only the ares or only the streets, but here there are both. And there is even a bowl. I like the street section.
Turtle Island:I think it's very interesting because it's the only place with a big bowl.
Plants and trees:We too enjoy deep bowls the most.
I get the impression that everyone wears "Vans" on a regular basis, but how do you really feel about them?
Turtle Island:I've only worn "Vans" for a long time.
Plants and trees:We have always been a "Vans" family, too.
Aida:I've worn a variety of shoes, but I started wearing "Vans" after I became a rider of "AXIS". I'm doing well.
What kind of impression do you have when you hear the name "Vans"?
Turtle Island:I really like Steve Caballero, and I've been wearing "Half Cab" for a long time. That's why I've always loved Vans.
Aida:The shoes are easy to wear and the rider is a cool image. They actually feel good when I wear them.
Plants and trees:We like Pedro Barros. He was at a Vans convention , and I've been interested in him ever since.
What do you look for when choosing skate shoes?
Turtle Island:Is it durability? I am also concerned about the firmness.
Aida:I'm a shape and color kind of guy . . I often choose by appearance.
Plants and trees:I wear what everyone else is wearing (laughs). I don't really know what I'm wearing, so I choose the ones I see Triumph wearing.
All of the models you have worn this time are "Black White". How did you feel when you tried them on?
Turtle Island:This one is going really well. I had an image that new skate lines were hard, but these are soft from the start. I think they are very good shoes.
Aida:The shape is unusual for "Vans", isn't it? . It is soft, but the side part is strong and my feet feel protected. The cushioning is also good, and they are in good shape.
Plants and trees:I think the sole was nice and different from my usual shoes. They were in good shape!
What is your favorite part?
Turtle Island:It was soft and cushioned pretty well from the start. I think everyone will like that about it.
Aida:I still liked the feeling that my legs were protected. That is what I value the most.
Plants and trees:I liked the fact that I didn't have to pre-scrape the corners of the shoes. I also like that they break in quickly to my feet.
How was the session?
Turtle Island:It was a lot of fun!
Aida:. It was great to have a session with this group after a long time. We usually skate in the same park, but we each ski where we like, so we don't get to ski the same sections together very often. It was a lot of fun.
Plants and trees:. it was great to ski deep bowl and birch with everyone. . No one does deep bowls with me. Every time I do it, I feel lonely and do it alone.... But today, everyone was with me, and it was a lot of fun.
What was the most impressive thing you saw in each other's runs?
Plants and trees:I think Kai's tailbone was the coolest. Nao skated beautifully again today.
Aida:Both of them are powerful skaters. They both skated very powerfully, and it showed today, too.
Turtle Island:. Nao skated beautifully as usual. He was doing his signature tricks. Hinano-san is my student, so I watch her all the time, and she was doing some nice airs today, so please watch her (laughs).
