What are the perspectives of the sneaker experts, what models do they choose, and what do they actually wear? We will introduce the real shoe choices of the industry's leading sneaker freaks in a relay format. This time, Yujiro Sugiura, who is in charge of PR/communications for Stone Island, was introduced by Ryo Nonaka in the previous issue. We asked him to name five pairs of shoes that he particularly likes recently, and asked him why he chose each pair and what he likes about them.

Lastly, the "Slip-On Mid" by Stone Island Shadow Project. What kind of shoes are these?

Sugiura:Stone Island Shadow Project is a special line designed by Acronium. These sneakers were released about three years ago. I bought them because I thought high-cut slip-on sneakers were rare.

. The switch of materials and colors is unique.

Sugiura:Various materials such as python stamped, cowhide, and suede are mixed, and the color is switched between black and white. The sole and heel are decorated with graphics, creating a simple yet elaborate look.

Why I'm drawn to all-black sneakers.

. When I look through your selection, all you have are all-black sneakers.

Sugiura:I think I have bought over 100 pairs of black sneakers alone. Not only shoes, but also clothes are all black. But since I started working at "Stone Island," I've come to think that clothes and shoes with color are nice.

It is rare to find a sneaker enthusiast who likes black. Why do you love black so much?

Sugiura:After graduating from high school and attending Bunka Fashion College, I fell in love with black clothes and shoes when I got into mode fashion. Black is versatile and can be used for any occasion. The word "black" has many different looks, and the atmosphere can be completely different depending on the silhouette and materials used.

It is true that each of the sneakers you have mentioned here gives a different impression, even though they are all the same color, black. . Well, I can't stop talking about it, but I think it's time to send your friends to .......
