The concept of the sweatshirt collection was born from the concept of "New Balance style," and the collection is comfortable to wear and well-designed. What do the fashion leaders think of these items? This time, we are joined by stylist Ms. Lambda Takahashi, who also designs sweatshirt items for her own brand. He is so in love with sweatshirts that he even designs his own brand of sweatshirts, and we asked him to share his secrets on how to wear them.

What advice would you give to readers on how to wear the NB Sweatshirt "1000 SERIES"?

Takahashi:It is the sense of size, after all. In addition to pursuing a silhouette that expresses my own personality, the position of the waist when wearing pants, for example, also changes the impression. In my case, I want to wear them with a sense of tension, so I raise them up to my belly button.

Takahashi:The more I wear them, the more I become obsessed with the silhouette. The more he wears them, the more he becomes obsessed with the silhouette. It's fun to shape them to my liking in this way.

If you had to dress and style a model, what would you coordinate?

Takahashi:I think it would be cool to keep the silhouette as it is now and have a polo shirt as an inner layer, a long coat, or an oversized trench coat when the weather gets warmer.

I see that you are not going for a sporty look.

Takahashi:I myself wear this kind of jacket or checked coat in the cold season. I try not to be too casual. I think it's better to wear something a little more traditional, or with a more rigid look to tighten it up.

Lastly, what are your expectations for "New Balance" in the future?

Takahashi:I know we're talking about shoes, but what I'm interested in are collaborative models with high-end brands. I always think it's cool to see elegant elements added to the high quality of "New Balance". So it is my personal desire to see more aggressive items. It would be great if you could add more items like that (laughs).
