This is one that is full of playfulness, with no sense of déjà vu.
While we were asking about the roots of fashion, Antony was finally able to make a big splash by using different colors for all parts of "MY G-SHOCK".
"My fashion inspirations are quite varied. I check out rappers' fashions, and it's interesting to discover fashionable kids from New York street snaps.
Iconic sneakers and watches tend to be covered, but I don't want to fall into that mold. I don't want to be stuck in that mold. I want to avoid the stereotypical "this sneaker is associated with this fashion. Even now, I was pulled in by the purple and yellow Lakers colors and the black and yellow Wu-Tang colors, but I decided not to pay homage to them because it was an opportunity to create something unique.
I'm 32 years old now, but I still have a lot of fun! I'm already 32 years old, but I still have a playful spirit and I wanted to keep the kid's feeling, so I made all the parts a different color. The yellow coloring looks great, and it also gives a sense of cohesiveness. I can wear it with a monotone style or with bright clothes.
At first glance, this multicolored pair looks difficult to style, but it easily blends in with the color of the outfit.
The four colors I used are a combination of G-Shock colors, which I do not own. I did my best to trust my own sensibilities without running away from what I already knew. My mindset is to create new things, not only for work, but basically for anything new.
Hoka Oneone and this G-Shock go well together, don't they? I saw actor Yosuke Okawa wearing Hoka on "Bari tochu-barai no Tabi," and that influenced me to start wearing them. I thought they were authentic because he wore them on a location show where he had to walk around a lot (laughs). (Laughs.) Not only are they comfortable, but the design is cute, too. I like sneakers and G-Shock not only for their design, but also for their functionality.
We asked Ms. Antony, who fully demonstrated her pure playful spirit, about her motivation for fashion.
For someone like me who lacks self-confidence, wearing a good-looking G-Shock or sneakers gives me the illusion that I've become a slightly better man. That's the best part of fashion, isn't it? I've heard that when rappers wear cool clothes on stage, it turns them on and makes them feel like a different person than they normally are, and that's exactly what it does. In my case, it is sneakers and watches that turn me on. Eh? A job that turns you on to fashion? That's when there are cute models and actresses (laughs).
