Do you wear shorts often?
I used to wear them occasionally, but since last year I have been wearing them more often. Not only because they are comfortable, but also because of my mood.
Mood?
Since I usually wear full-length shorts, wearing shorts gives me a wider range of styling options. It is fun to think about the color and length of socks and the volume of shoes. Another reason is that just wearing them makes me feel open and free.
Please tell us what you are particular about when you wear shorts.
We are conscious of the overall silhouette. For example, short shorts can be worn with a slightly tight or just right size top, and a loose top can be worn with below-the-knee length shorts. I then choose accessories to complete the look.

Today's shoes are the longer length of "The Original", 18 inches.
The length is a little above the knee. At this level, I think it would be better to choose a larger top and voluminous shoes on the feet. If I choose low-tech ones, I think it would give too much of a surfy feel.
What did you keep in mind when styling?
The black and white checkered flag was distinctive, so all accessories were black. For the top, I wore a blue oversized shirt from an outdoor brand to give the outfit a functional yet city-like look.
I also like the fact that the checkers have a slightly pale texture. At first glance, I thought it might be gaudy, but when I actually put it on, it didn't stand out at all, and it became a nice accent.

How about the functionality?
I play basketball and skateboard occasionally for relaxation, although the frequency has decreased. Today was my first time playing basketball in a while, and they were light and really easy to move around in. They were so dry to the touch that I felt as if I was wearing trunks. I think board shorts have a strong image of the ocean, but these can be worn for leisure and outdoor activities as well.
I heard that there is a Quiksilver booth at this year's Greenroom Festival, where you can also purchase the products.
I think they will definitely work well at festivals. They are quick-drying so you don't have to worry about spilling drinks, and the stretch allows you to move without stress. The weather at outdoor festivals during this time of year is often rough. In that sense, I think these shorts are very convenient.
