Malibu City (Malibu) is located north of Los Angeles, California. It is, needless to say, the birthplace of Malibu Sandals. The brand's founder and designer, Kevin, still lives in Malibu and finds inspiration in the city's serenity. How fascinating is the city Kevin loves? Here are some of the best things about Malibu that he shared with us while walking around with Kevin.

Kevin's favorite Malibu restaurant.

Kevin O'Neill / Born in Santa Paula (Ojai), California in 1968. He spent his childhood in a rural town in Washington State. After graduating from college, he joined the San Diego Padres MLB team, but was ruled out due to injury. He then studied marketing and manufacturing at an apparel company before founding Malibu Sandals in 2014.

Malibu is located about 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles on the Pacific Coast Highway. The beaches in Los Angeles are Santa Monica and Venice, but the beaches in Malibu are a bit different from those areas. It is a small beach city with beautiful beaches, relaxing times, and friendly locals.

Kevin, the founder of Malibu Sandals, who will be showing us around Malibu, has been in town for almost 10 years. Kevin says, "I've been in Malibu for almost 10 years now.

Malibu is the most comfortable place in the world for me. I live here, I work here, and I get inspiration for Malibu Sandals here.
