Tanaka-san, is there a time in your day that you cherish?
Tanaka:Time not to work, I guess. It has been about a year since I became independent after working for a major boutique. I feel that by creating a little extra time in my day, I have time to think about various things, challenge myself in new areas, and improve my skills and the accuracy of my work. I feel that this will lead to the improvement of my skills and the precision of my work. Therefore, I think it is very important to make time to not work.
Do you usually wear a watch?
Tanaka:I wear a watch almost every day. These days, I often check the time on my phone, but since I have been in the fashion world for a long time, a wristwatch is a necessary item for me as a matter of taste.
What kind of watches do you like?
Tanaka:. I like vintage watches, mostly from the 50s. I had a "Hamilton" watch. . I had a "Ventura," although it wasn't vintage.

VENTURA
The "Ventura" is also known for being worn by Elvis Presley. The easy-to-attach and -disengage bellows belt was customized by Elvis himself, and was eventually adopted by Hamilton. This watch symbolizes Elvis's flexible style.¥125,400
What kind of image do you have of "Ventura"?
Tanaka:It looks avant-garde, and I am surprised that this was designed in the 50's . Like the American mid-century, I wonder if this is a masterpiece born in a time when a revolution in design took place.
Do you feel any change in your mood by wearing this watch?
Tanaka:. I originally owned one with a leather belt. This is the first time I have worn a "Ventura" with a bellows belt, and it is easy to put on and take off. I found it attractive because I can wear it casually and without hesitation, and it also feels somewhat like a bracelet, making it easy to use in terms of fashion.
What did you keep in mind when coordinating?
Tanaka:Gold is a very elegant color, so I thought it would stand out in an elegant atmosphere when paired with brown or other classic color schemes. I was impressed by the way my seniors wore their Ventura watches with street clothes, and I was impressed by how well they fit in with that kind of styling. In that sense, I think this watch is suitable for a wide range of outfits.
