Known as an epoch-making wristwatch, Hamilton's "Ventura," the world's first battery-powered wristwatch, was born in 1957 and surprised people with its futuristic form. Richard Arbib, the genius of industrial design, created this form, which has been handed down to the present day, more than 60 years after its birth. What if someone were to wear such a "Ventura" on his or her wrist? Seven people from different professions and ages, including fashion professionals, models, musicians, and athletes, will appear on the show to share their experiences and explain the appeal of this watch.

You have many titles, don't you?

Yamamoto:I model and act, and we do "EA magazine" at our own pace and when we want to. I am also an art geek, so I sometimes curate such things.

What are you most interested in now?

Yamamoto:I wonder... Basically, I like art, and I also like listening to the radio, so it's hard to say which is the best. When I get interested in something, I dig into it a lot. It is the same with fashion, food, what I see, and what I listen to. As I do this, the way I look at the subject changes, and I never get tired of it. So even if other people think I am doing the same thing for a long time, it may be different for me.

Do you also keep the same fashion style?

Yamamoto:It doesn't change. This "Ventura" is cool and beautiful, but I don't like to dress differently than usual for it, and I like to wear what I feel comfortable in. Clothes are like a second skin, so I like to take care of that, but I also like to incorporate something a little different and have a new sense of style, and I think that's fun.

Yamamoto:It is easier to wear casually than it looked in the picture. I thought it would be a more elegant and unusual watch, but I thought it would be an easy item for everyday use. It's small and luxurious, but it doesn't seem at all obnoxious, and I get the sense that it fits my style.

Does it change your mood?

Yamamoto:It changes you. I want to be myself, but at the same time, wearing it makes me cooler than usual. I also become more conscious of my arms. I roll up the sleeves of my clothes more often. It's just like when you buy a new lipstick, you want to go outside (laughs). Wearing something special like this makes me want to meet someone or show it to them.

For example, where would you like to go wearing "Ventura"?

Yamamoto:Rather than going out of my way to do something special, I'd rather just go on as usual. I think it is meaningful to fit in with life, and I would like to wear it when I meet friends, play, have tea, or take a walk. There is something special like "Ventura" in the scenery that I always see. I want to enjoy that kind of discomfort.
