What kind of fashion do you like?
Tanaka: I have gone through many different fashions, and as I get older, I feel that they have become simpler and more stripped down. I used to like designer clothes, but now I wear quite a bit of vintage clothing. I try to keep my clothes as clean and minimalistic as possible.
What are your criteria for choosing pants among them?
Tanaka: I like thicker, wider silhouettes. Especially in winter, I often wear a long coat, which reduces the exposure of pants. That is why I often choose items that are thicker and more voluminous, and items with color. This gives a different impression when I see a glimpse of pants.

What did you pay attention to in styling this time?
Tanaka: I dared to combine a large parka and sneakers for a slightly casual styling. The color orange was chosen for the styling, which is both glamorous and casual at the same time.
The use of orange as a color scheme is very impressive.
Tanaka: Orange is a special color for me; it is the key color of my previous job, and I also think it is a noble color, as represented by "Hermes". So I naturally tend to pick up orange. Also, in winter, I tend to wear more warm-colored items such as beige and brown, so it goes very well with those colors.

How did you feel when you actually tried on the [Allely] pants?
Tanaka: The fabric has a good sheen and a luxurious feel. I was surprised at the high cost performance of the item. The contrast between the ease of use and the high quality of the item makes it a very attractive item. Also, they were very comfortable to wear. The silhouette of the "WIDE" item makes the fabric sway and move when you walk. Clothes that look cool when they move are kind of wonderful, aren't they?
If you could coordinate these pants with any other outfit, what would it be?
Tanaka: I would like to wear a double blazer. The usual pairing for a blazer would be chinos, but I think it would be interesting to wear orange slacks. I also think it would be good to wear a high gauge turtleneck knit in a compact size and tuck it in to create a contrasting silhouette between the top and bottom. I think this item can be worn in a variety of ways.

I have the impression that many wide pants are very well designed. Just wearing them makes you look stylish.
Tanaka: Yes, it is. The thicker the better, because it can make a solid impact. However, I think it is also important to look at the way they are worn. I think it is necessary to look at the position of the waist and the balance of the inseam.
Do you have any particular points to keep in mind when choosing the size or the position of the waist?
Tanaka: Basically, wide pants should be worn just right in the waist. I wear my waist a little higher than usual, but since "Alley" is very cost-effective, I think it is possible to wear them with more attention to length than waist. So, it would be good to choose a larger size and wear them full-length. It would also be a good idea to buy two pairs in different sizes and use them according to your mood. With such a wide variety of silhouettes and colors, there are so many ways to wear them. I think this is a very attractive collection.
