Tanaka:Yes, for about 2 years. . But it was very encouraging to have Mr. Kuboshita in Tokyo.
How long have you been a part of "TANAKA"?
Kuboshita:Officially, it's 2020. Until then, I'll be supporting it behind the scenes, and after I retire from my previous job (Fast Retailing), I'll be in full swing.
It has been five full years since your brand was launched in the 18SS season. Hasn't the brand expanded in Japan?
Tanaka:Yes, I am. Thankfully .
You have been holding exhibitions in Japan for the past few years, but in the beginning, you focused on the U.S. and Europe.
Tanaka:We have a sales contract with a showroom in Milan starting in 2019, so inevitably we will be dealing with more customers in Europe and the United States. In Japan, we are at the stage where we have started sales with an official partner from the 22SS season. This is just the beginning.

Founded in New York, "TANAKA" is greatly influenced by the diverse values and culture of the city of New York.
