I have an image of you wearing patterned or colored clothes, so the black set-up looks fresh.
To be honest, I don't have many black clothes in my closet, but I admire the French style of wearing black clothes in a modern way. The key to the styling was to match a patterned shirt as an inner layer so that the cool mood of the set-up would not be too distracting. I chose the patterned shirt because I wanted to incorporate a European mood and color scheme, as well as to express my own personality.
Do you have any memories of "Converse"?
When I was in high school, I guess it was customizing "Chuck Taylors" by threading two thin laces of different colors through them. It was fun and enjoyable to choose and arrange them in vivid colors like pink and yellow. I wore out the ones with the color combination I liked until the holes were too big (laugh).
Michelle loves jackets, so what attracted you to this set-up?
Wrinkles can ruin the look of a jacket, but this one is made of wool 100%, so the fabric is resistant to sagging. So even if you wear it all day long, you can maintain a classy and beautiful silhouette. And because the pants have a center press, they look cool even when worn with casual sneakers.
The "Chuck Taylor" shoes you are wearing today are designed to be linked with the setup.
The white line on the heel makes the foot look beautiful when viewed from behind, and it also works as a design feature. Moreover, since they are Converse Addict models, they are easy to walk in. The Vibram sole makes them slip-resistant.
Which brand of bicycle do you use?
This pisto bike is made from a bicycle racing frame by Fukuoka-based pisto maker Since I bought the frame three years ago, I have been gradually upgrading it by having a friend who works at a bicycle shop adjust the saddle and handlebar area. My latest favorite is the hem belt, which I still wear today. I bought it pink to match the color of the bell.
The pants are also a great accent to your coordination. The pants are 9' length, so they are recommended for regular bicycle riders like Michelle.
The hem doesn't get tangled in the chain. Besides, with full-length jackets being the norm, the ankle-length is fresh. The jacket is also moderately loose, which gives you a good range of motion.
What kind of situation would you wear this set-up in?
It is a basic design, so it can really be worn in a variety of situations. Not only for everyday wear, but also during work. It looks good for meetings and telecons because of its classy fabric.
The surface is basic, but the details are quite elaborate, such as the brand tag made of the same material as "Chuck Taylor" on the back pocket.
I am still attracted to clothes with attention to detail. The pants also have a drawcord waist, don't they? And the laces are made of the same material as Chuck Taylor's laces. I think it's wonderful that the "Converse" style is incorporated everywhere.
