The tough, textured denim fabrics produced by CANTON OVERALLS, which made its first jeans in Japan in 1963, are essential to MHL. The collaboration is now in its 12th season, and the collection has become so iconic that it frequently appears in shows held in London prior to the Corona. This is a light-weight denim developed for summer wear, thin but with fullness and firmness. It reproduces the uneven, nepy look that was produced on spinning machines in the old days when spinning technology was not yet developed. Combined with the fading that appears as the wearer wears these jeans, they give them a rough, vintage look.
