Watanabe-san, your activities are very diverse.
Watanabe:. My title is visual artist, and I make music videos and other images.
You also have a unit with your sister, don't you?
Watanabe: Yes, I do. . I live with my sister and we still sleep in the room next to each other (laughs). We are an audiovisual unit under the name "tamanaramen. I make the jackets for their music videos and EPs, and when they invite me to events, I do some VJ work.
So, do you usually spend most of your time staring at your computer?
Watanabe: That's going to happen.
How was your experience with the HUAWEI MatePad SE 10.4"?
Watanabe: In my case, it is difficult to use it for work, but I had no problem watching videos, surfing the web, and using it in my private life.
How did you use it?
Watanabe: I usually read a lot, so I read books on my tablet. I've always had a bit of a thing for e-books (laughs).
. How much do you read?
Watanabe: I read 3 or 4 novels a month . . anyway, when I go out, I carry a book with me as a talisman. But with the tablet, I was happy to be able to carry several of those talismans with me.
The "HUAWEI eBook mode," which displays the screen in black and white, makes the text easy to read and provides a paper-like reading experience. Other features include a "low blue light mode" that reduces blue light and a "dark mode" in which the screen is black to maintain legibility even when the surroundings are dark. In addition, the brightness of the screen is automatically adjusted to match the surrounding environment.
There are a certain number of people who say they don't like paper, but are you particular about that?
Watanabe: Not at all. Books are bulky, and it is hard to throw them away after reading them, so they take up a lot of room. With a tablet, I can store a number of books in one device, which is really great. Moreover, Huawei's tablet does not tire me out when I read.
