I would like to ask you about your creative activities, such as singing and painting. I hear that many people are not comfortable with their own voices, but do you like your own voice?
No:Some parts sound good and I like them, but there are other parts that I don't quite understand, so I guess I'm just researching that now. . I want to listen to my own voice more and more. . I'm at the stage where I want to do more live performances, sing more, and make it better.
In relation to the title "Let These Days Become Songs," how do your creative activities, such as singing songs and painting pictures, fit into your daily life?
No:If I were blocked from creating, I would become a person who has nothing to offer, and I think it is such an essential part of my life that I cannot separate it from myself. If I want to do something, I have already done it, so if I am forced to put the brakes on, I will feel suffocated. It is that important.
Do you consider your own creations and scripted performances to be two different things?
No:Yes, it is totally different. There is a difference in responsibility and attitude between reading and interpreting messages written by others and sending out messages that come from within me, so I feel like I am naturally switching from one to the other. In music, I have always exposed myself and emphasized, for example, how I feel and how much I enjoy live performances. Recently, I have adopted the approach I took when I was an actor and started to focus on how to make myself look attractive, in other words, how to interpret and express myself.
I need to do some work like detaching myself from the message so that I can spread it to a wider range of people. . It's a tougher process, though, because there are more steps to go through (laughs).
So, you are just now changing to have an objective point of view on your own expression?
No:As for the music, yes . I thought I knew what I was doing because it was my own thing, but now that I am responsible for how I present that expression to others, I want to make it more entertaining. . In this way, I am trying to capture the songs in this album, "PURSUE," as if I were interpreting them when I am acting.
