I've only done what I thought would be fun on my own initiative (laughs). (Laughs.) But it is precisely because we are doing things on a small scale like Slow Tempo that we are able to enjoy ourselves in such a free manner. When we make interesting proposals, we can directly feel our customers' delight, and that is the best part of being a store.
In fact, at the time of "SLOW Vintage Market," some customers came to see the vegetables on the first day, which made me very happy. So I would share with the customers how I cooked the vegetables, or what kind of recipes I used at my fellow restaurants. It's fun to have a store where clothes and vegetables become such a communication tool, and I think it motivates me to move on to the next thing.

These vintage T-shirts are purchased in LA and Hawaii, and Onodera personally selects each item, so please visit the store and enjoy shopping while listening to the stories behind each item!

In the back of the store is a space with samples and stock, and an office space where business negotiations and meetings may be held.
Online is convenient, but since we have a physical store, we want to not only sell clothes, but we want to tell our customers about interesting things that convey our personality. I want to deliver the excitement of, "If I go to that store, I'm sure there will be something interesting going on there." I think that old clothing stores had more of that element than they do now. I think that kind of thing is good regardless of age.
I think that if I could transmit not only apparel proposals, but also things in my lifestyle from "Slow Tempo," I think that more interesting things will happen. I would like to continue to express at my own pace the fun and independent qualities of the store, which are different from those of online stores.
TRIP TO LA

In LA, which he visited in mid-May, he enjoyed himself both on and off the field, including a swap meet, thrift shopping around UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), and watching Shohei Ohtani play for the Angels(!
TRIP TO HAWAII

After L.A., I headed to Hawaii. Mr. Onodera is a distributor for "Salvage Public," so he had meetings with Joseph Noah Napali, who works on the brand, and attended parties after work. The photos should convey the creativity and atmosphere that comes from playing while working seriously, and that flows through "Slow Tempo.

Starting on June 30 (Fri.), the "SLOW Vintage Market" will be held again, focusing on the sale of secondhand clothing purchased and morning vegetables picked that morning! The period June 30 (Fri.) - July 2 (Sun.) and July 5 (Wed.) - July 9 (Sun.) will be a total of eight days, so be sure not to miss this opportunity.
