Kojima: In the past, soft vinyl figures of heroes and monsters had their names written on the soles of their feet. That is where we got our inspiration. Also, the sole and upper, which were inspired by soft vinyl, are made of a luminescent material. They glow in the dark.
HOUYHNHNM: Oh, it's really shiny. It's very playful.
Kojima: Soft vinyl toys originated in Japan. I hope people will enjoy these sneakers as if they were toys.
