MARGARET HOWELL" and its casual line "MHL." have been making these words a reality for many years and continue to produce clothes that transcend time and generation. We took a short trip to a seaside town with Asami Usuda and Kai Inowaki, who were wearing such clothes. Photographer Kotori Kawashima captures fragmentary images of the two, which give a sense of the beginning of a story.
