Avilex is the formal dress of the street.

. - And just like the soundtrack, "Flat Line Classics" also has the hardcore impression of being the conscience of the Hip Hop scene. The cover jacket is a classic visual statement, the members wear 90s-style varsity jackets, and there is a sense of boombap context outside of the music.
FLC:As long as it is Hip Hop, I believe that style can be expressed through live performances and behavior, as well as the way one dresses, on top of the premise of the music source, and that it can also be judged by the audience. . So, even for a cover jacket, I try to create a classic image. In the main visual for "THROW BACK LP," Sart is wearing a vintage "Avilex" varsity jacket, and BIG FAF is also a regular fan of "Avilex" outerwear.
-The very jacket of the "THROW BACK LP" caught my eye with the varsity jacket of "Avilex" and reminded me of Biggie (The Notorious B.I.G.) and NAS.
FLC:Since we grew up listening to such artists, we are naturally influenced by them, and I feel that it is very valuable to have an opportunity like this to wear them with the entire crew.

-Please tell us again what is your impression or image of the Avilex brand.
FLC:The brand has a history of being used not only by rappers but also by icons of New York City, so I think that it is a brand that gives us a sense of New York's mood, which is essential to HIP HOP culture. Also, not only varsity jackets, but also rider's jackets and other iconic items of the brand are iconic, so it is easy for us to accept them as standard items, and they fit in with our daily outfits and lifestyles.
-What do you think of the varsity jacket items worn this time?
FLC:I had the impression that they were formal street clothes, so I felt again that they are profound items that test the wearer's way of life, or rather, correct his or her posture.

-I heard that some members of "Flat Line Classics" are well versed in the field of fashion, and I wonder if you find the items attractive from such a fashion perspective as well.
FLC:Leather jackets are designed for bikers, and varsity jackets are formal wear for collegiate sports. I think that the sewing and patterns are designed according to the image and purpose of the wearer, and it makes perfect sense. The arms have a wide range of motion, the length is generous, and the ribbing is stress-free.
Also, from a styling standpoint, I appreciate the wide variety of sizing and coloring, which allows for a wide range of outfits regardless of gender or style.

-The members of the group have a high interest in fashion, which is why the way each of you dressed this time is unique, but there is also a sense of unity as a crew, creating a visual that is just like a Hip Hop crew in New York City.
FLC:Wearing the same items as a crew is not a posse feeling, but I think I have reaffirmed that it is an important part of HIP HOP culture. I would like to wear the "Avilex" jacket in music videos if there is an opportunity in the future (laughs).
