It combines both appearance and functionality from a UI/UX perspective.

What is Mr. Ogawa's passion for "Whitage"?
Stream:The "white" in the brand name "WHITAGE" is a color that evokes an image of newness, hope, cleanliness, and eternity. It also signifies a beginning, as when it is used in terms such as "white space" to refer to business areas that have never existed before.
The word "age" means era or evolution in French, and we hope that our products will continue to evolve while staying close to the current era and people. By combining the two, we expressed our concept of pursuing innovative manufacturing.
In this context, I wanted to develop a bag that was both functional and fashionable, so I decided to include my unique UI/UX designer's perspective. In other words, I wanted to create a bag with excellent usability and user experience as well as a sophisticated look and feel. To achieve this, I aim to create products that transcend the relationship between people and objects by greedily incorporating high technology and sublimating it into the design.
Is high technology also used in the first item?

Stream:MIYAVIE," a functional material that reduces the weight of the wearer's body and has a pressure dispersing effect, is used for the straps of the bags, which is also the USP (unique strength and advantage) of the three "GEX Series" products to be released this time. There are other technology materials with such 3D mesh structure, but compared to them, "MIYAVIE" is said to have about three times the pressure dispersion effect and durability. In addition, since we have our own technology and can consistently handle production, processing, and reuse in-house, we were able to develop a product tailored to "WHITAGE".
It is attractive to be able to carry a light load.
Stream:It feels lighter than a conventional bag, so I encourage you to give it a try. One value is that the bag itself is lightweight, but I put more emphasis on the fact that the bag feels lighter when you put it on your back with luggage in it. I thought this would directly benefit the people who actually use the bag.
How did you find a balance between the latest technology and ease of use?
Stream:In terms of UX, the body is based on the classic shapes and prototypes that have existed in the past. We believe that classic shapes that have been around for a long time have appeal in terms of ease of use, familiarity, and a sense of security, so we designed the body to be newer and more unique, while at the same time taking advantage of these qualities.
In this respect, "Saxbar" is a specialist bag retailer, has many professionals in a wide variety of bags, and knows the industry and its customers better than anyone else. Using each other's strengths, we were able to pursue what users are potentially looking for and create a new bag never seen before.
