Horiuchi:It's very cozy and I often come here to relax. I can have lunch, just have a cup of tea, or even late at night, so I sometimes come here late at night. At night, we sometimes have events, so you can see a different side of us. It's a place where you can enjoy yourself in many different ways.
Do you prefer the outdoors to the indoors?
Horiuchi: I am an active person. I run a vintage clothing store, and there are days when I spend all day inside working, but when I have time, I ride my bicycle to Shibuya or Harajuku, or to visit friends. This store was one of those destinations.

What kind of vintage clothing do you like?
Horiuchi: I like items from the late 90s to early 2000s. I myself have worn many different kinds of clothes, and I feel that the clothes from that era fit me well. I pick up items that are basic and can be worn casually.
Is "Elle Bean" included in that group?
Horiuchi: It is a classic among outdoor brands, and I have the impression that the number of young people who like secondhand clothing is increasing, so I think the brand is gaining recognition. That's why the brand is very popular even in secondhand clothing. I myself often wear their outerwear. Many of them are easy to wear in everyday life.
How do you like L.L.Bean Japan Edition?
Horiuchi: It was so good. They had everything I was looking for in vintage clothing that I wished I had. I thought the lineup really hit the right spot, or rather, it scratched an itch.

Do you have any points that are different from second-hand clothes?
Horiuchi: The materials and details have been brushed up to be more modern. For example, the vest I am wearing uses the latest "PrimaLoft®" padding, and the cuffs are large, which makes it easy to layer large-size garments. There are also windproof details to prevent wind from coming in from the sides and chilling the body. It looks classic, but I like that it has been updated to be functional.
Sweatshirts are cute too.
Horiuchi: I really like this one too. The size is great. I wore it with loose denim for an old-time skater look. I think the fact that it blends in with so many different styles is also appealing.
