Born in 1991 in Osaka , Japan. . She has been practicing calligraphy since the first grade of elementary school, and is currently a Shohitsu-kai Shihan (master calligrapher). She is pursuing her own unique style through the filter of fashion in order to make the Japanese tradition of calligraphy more accessible to the public.

Do you come to Todoroki Valley often?
Middle:I often come here for a walk for a change. The air is so nice because of the abundance of nature. I really miss the green scenery when I am in the city, so I need a place like this for myself.
. When you are doing calligraphy, it seems that your feelings are reflected in your works, doesn't it?
Middle: Calligraphy is like sports; if you don't touch a brush every day, your senses become dull. Also, if you try to create a work of art while thinking with your mind, it will inevitably end up being a work of art. I find it more interesting to create works that come from spontaneously moving my body, which is beyond my understanding.
Is it important to have a neutral state of mind, or is it more like meditation?
Middle: Yes, it is. . so it is very important for me to come to a place like this to refresh myself. I live in two locations, Osaka and Tokyo, and the way I feel about things changes depending on where I am, so it is sometimes difficult to switch on and off. At times like that, coming to a place like this helps me feel calm and relaxed.

For example, do you feel that fashion changes your feelings and influences your work?
Middle: Yes, there is. When I create, I try to make myself feel better by doing things like getting ink on my favorite work clothes to make them more tasteful. During production, I use my whole body, so most of the time I wear clothes that are easy to move in, and functional clothes such as outdoor or sports brand clothes are useful in such situations.

What is your impression of Elle Bean?
Middle: I use the tote bag for private use. They are very sturdy, and it is amazing that they do not break even if I share them with my family members. As time goes by, the bags become more and more durable, and I think the fact that they can be used by many different people as they come and go in the family is also attractive.

Middle: I was shocked at how lightweight and warm the jacket is (laughs). (Laughs) . And it is very easy to move around in, which is something that can only happen with an outdoor brand. It's perfect for taking a walk, like I did today.
. I've been in the mood for sports, traditional, and ivy lately, and I like to mix those elements. . I like to mix those elements. I also enjoy mixing colors in my styling, and I like the orange coloring.
